Semiconductor Device Engineer - LV-375717889

Our innovative Austrian based client is currently searching for Semiconductor Device Engineer to join their engineering team. The role will involve developing and optimizing advanced semiconductor devices from concept and simulation through silicon validation and high-volume production.
Key Responsibilities
Develop semiconductor devices from concept and architecture through characterization, qualification, and production
Apply device physics, simulation, and modelling to optimize performance and identify failure mechanisms
Define and optimize device structures, process requirements, operating conditions, specifications, and design rules
Analyze silicon and electrical characterisation data to drive device and process improvements
Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of device-related technical issues
Collaborate closely with process integration, technology development, circuit design, layout, characterisation, and manufacturing teams
Drive successful transition of new devices from R&D into reliable, repeatable mass production
Required Experience
3+ years' relevant semiconductor device experience
Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and practical device development
Experience in charge-domain pixel/device design and state-of-the-art charge-domain techniques
Hands-on TCAD experience, particularly Synopsys Sentaurus
Experience developing and optimising devices for production
Master's or PhD in Physics, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field
